Pivoting between past and present, Mukesh’s imagery has been inspired by mythical stories and folklores those transcripts into modern living in a political manner. Through this, he draws a query upon our dystopian relationship to myth, memory, and nature.

For Mukesh, Painting comes as an accumulation of various media that not only include paints of different nature such as; acrylics and natural pigments, but also collages using gold foil, silk-screen prints or digital prints onto the surface. His intervention into material also includes E-waste with a continuing dialogue about technology being an enabler.
